My fave FREE business tools to save you time + streamline your biz

Today I’m talking all about business tools. As my business has evolved, I’ve found several tools that make my job (and life!) easier and I want to share those with you today. The best bit? They all have FREE plans too, whoop! This blog post is short and sweet, but hopefully, there are some useful tools for you guys to consider using in your business.

So, without further ado, here are my fave free business tools to use in my business:

Asana

Asana is a project management tool that helps you to be more organized and productive.

In just hours of starting an account, I was able to streamline my systems and batch my processes. I’ve been using Asana for about 2 years now, and I LOVE IT! It saves me so much time and enables me to feel more organised not just in my business, but in my personal life too. It's the BEST!

Google Meet (formerly known as Google Hangouts)

I use Google Meet for all of my client calls, it's super easy to share your screen, or you can just have a good old fashioned voice or video call.

Google Drive

Google Drive keeps all of my documents in one place. For all of my custom brand & web clients, I'll set up a shared GDrive project folder to host all of their prep-work and will upload all final files at the end of the project too. It's also really great for easily sharing docs such as blog posts with your VA and other Teammates, plus, you can edit things in Google Docs too!

Canva

Canva is an amazingly simple online graphic design tool that allows you to create images for blogs, social media, and so much more. I use Canva a lot when creating templates for my clients to use in their business.

Planoly

Planoly makes it super easy to plan & schedule Instagram content, even from my desktop. I can save files and have a bank of files to choose from when planning my content. Plus, it looks pretty too!

Loom

Loom allows you to easily create videos of yourself and share your screen at the same time. This is a great way to explain something to someone or provide feedback. And you can save Loom videos and watch them over and over.

Loom have recently made some changes to their free + paid plans, meaning recorded videos on the free plan are capped to 5 minutes, but you can record unlimited videos and have them all saved in your account forever! I've just upgraded to one of their paid plans which is great value for money too.

These are my day-to-day must-haves. All of these have made my life so much easier and I hope they can help you, too!
